PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Manos Visibles Corporation has created this program for trainers, in alliance with the Bibliotec Foundation, to provide input from technological components to library teachers from the Pacific and Caribbean communities. This program is undertaken in the aim of contributing to the digital transformation of the community libraries in these focus regions through the development of informational skills of their staff and the co-creation of innovative library services.
Leer el Pacífico looks to support field professionals in the development of a digital literacy program for librarians and a support team aimed at training trainers. Through this initiative, the program seeks to develop collaborative and group work sessions with a focus on the base group of libraries with issues of resilience in agroecology: the cultivation of orchards, solidarity economy and food exchanges.
