PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Seeking to articulate schemes of reinforcement that start directly in our transformation models and ecosystems, the Manos Visibles Organization looks to generate a new space for dialogue focused on the exchange of ideas and experiences that allows participants to enrich their work in the area of literacy throughout the local territories.
From the work with stakeholders that directly affect the educational process of children and young people in school, we aim to promote and strengthen the processes of reading, writing and critical thinking that benefit their process in the acquisition of oral and written communication skills and abilities.
The Children's Literature Laboratory is part of our ongoing training task and is consolidated as a basis for cultivating future leaders with deep reflective processes; all this from fully supporting those who accompany and consolidate this process, providing them with new tools and methodologies.
This scenario is designed for new generations and is made possible thanks to the tireless, committed and rigorous work of the “Visible Hand” Estefanía González, who contextualized, managed and deepened the scope of a network of training mentorship. Through her, we have been able to achieve what the laboratory has become today. It’s worth mentioning that Estefanía has a Doctorate in human and social sciences, a Master’s in political science with training in arts and history and has worked as a social researcher on memory, intangible heritage, cultural entrepreneurship and creative economy. Furthermore, she has been leading these processes with Lorenzo and Vicente, her children, with an infinite love for children's literature and family reading. She has shared many of those readings on Instagram as @leoconmishijos. She is also responsible for libraries and cultural centers at the Comfama Organization.
