Pacific Connection is the commitment to a region that reinvents itself from its collective power, from the ability to integrate knowledge and experiences, from the ability to encounter the diversity of a region that must change its narrative from the facts, that is, from its own development model. The objective is to gradually integrate a capacity for joint vision-action that allows making the transition from a Pacific that has been thought and intervened more from others than from its own people.
For more than six years, we have developed this series of workshops and regional meetings, to reflect, discuss and propose from and for the region. We have brought together more than 1,500 leaders in their six versions, we have consolidated a network of experts and tutors who have participated in the construction of the programmatic and methodological agenda, and even through these workshops we have transformed community processes into regional strategies such as the Agenda Pazcífico 2014 - 2018, which was included in the National Development Plan 2014 - 2018: "All for a new country", in addition to serving as an input for the Colombian government's peace process with the FARC.

1. Regional Workshops
A scenario that has consolidated discussions of the highest level on the challenges, and at the same time, proposals and ideas for action by the network's leaders with national and international experts. In this format we have developed the first five versions of Pacific Connection, in which decisive issues for the development of the region have been discussed such as governance, economy, empowerment, etc...., as well as the development of ideas and concrete actions from our leaders to multiply your impact.

Regional Meetings
This format is a much more local, versatile, and practical exercise than the regional workshops. However, the focus is more on building concrete strategies and alternatives from the territories and for the strategic nodes of our interventions (Quibdó, Tumaco and Buenaventura for 2019). We held three regional meetings, which revolved around a central theme for the region and the country: "culture of peace", addressed with different thematic lines that make up the culture of peace: "culture to empower", "culture to transcend", and "culture for entrepreneurship". The objective of these meetings is to consolidate the first version of a collective impact agenda that we have called the Pacific 2030 Agenda, a series of concrete proposals that the youth leaders of the region (who also make up the new generation of Pacific Power) discussed and they built during this exercise, accompanied by the mentoring of experts of the highest level.
