¿Cómo construir paz pazdesde la educación?
EducaPazcífico es el programa de Educación para la Paz en el Pacífico, es la inversión de la Corporación Manos Visibles por reducir las brechas educativas de la región Pacífico a través de un proceso integral de fortalecimiento de competencias pedagógicas para docentes y nivelación académica para estudiantes. Esto con el objetivo de mejorar e incrementar las posibilidades de acceso a educación superior de calidad a jóvenes de la región; incluir al Pacífico en la agenda de reclutamiento de las mejores Universidades del país; y fortalecer a las Instituciones Educativas en su rol de liderazgo a nivel municipal y departamental. A través de EducaPazcífico, Manos Visibles busca, además incidir en proceso de política pública educativa a nivel local, departamental y nacional.
En la versión 2020 de EducaPazcífico, que se desarrolla en el contexto de la pandemia por el Covid-19, nos hemos enfocado en dos componentes:
(i) apoyo en la transición hacia la educación no-presencial
(ii) fortalecimiento de competencias psicosociales en las comunidades educativas.
Con el apoyo de la Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo - AECID y el apoyo de la Universidad ICESI, presentamos el Diplomado “Transición hacia la educación no – presencial” e invitamos a los docentes de la región Pacífico pertenecientes a las instituciones educativas vinculadas al proyecto a participar en esta convocatoria.
Los participantes al diplomado deben ser docentes en ejercicio y contar con los conocimientos propios de su área de enseñanza y el plan de estudios ya existente en la institución educativa donde laboran.
- Capacidades para la comprensión y producción de textos
- Capacidad de planificación, organización y gestión
- Competencias para el manejo de aplicaciones informáticas básicas, como son: procesadores de texto, hojas de cálculo, programas para presentaciones y manejo del sistema operativo Windows
- Conocimientos básicos sobre herramientas de comunicación por Internet, como son: correo electrónico, buscadores en internet y navegación en sitios web.
- Motivación al aprendizaje
- Flexibilidad para integrar nuevos conocimientos y adaptarse al cambio.
- Actitud de escucha ante los demás
- Respeto y tolerancia por la diversidad de opiniones
- Disposición y creatividad para solucionar problemas.
- Acceso a Internet
- Disponibilidad de un computador para la implementación y publicación de guías materiales en un LMS (Edmodo)
- Disponibilidad de dispositivos móviles para gestionar la comunicación, interacción y retroalimentación con los estudiantes.
How to build peace from education?
EducaPazcífico is the Pacific Peace Education program, it is the investment of the Visible Hands Corporation to reduce the educational gaps in the Pacific region through a comprehensive process of strengthening pedagogical skills for teachers and academic leveling for students. This with the aim of improving and increasing the possibilities of access to quality higher education for young people in the region; include the Pacific in the recruitment agenda of the best universities in the country; and strengthen Educational Institutions in their leadership role at the municipal and departmental level. Through EducaPazcífico, Visible Hands also seeks to influence the educational public policy process at the local, departmental and national levels.
In the 2020 version of EducaPazcífico, which takes place in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have focused on two components:

(ii) strengthening of psychosocial competencies in educational communities.
With the support of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation - AECID and the support of the ICESI University, we present the Diploma, "Transition towards non-classroom education" and we invite teachers from the Pacific region belonging to linked educational institutions to the project to participate in this call.
The peace education program in the Colombian Pacific (EDUCAPAZCÍFCO) is a strategy to empower dreams. A real tool to close social gaps and train both teachers and youth in the tenth and eleventh grades, in order to improve their performance on the state tests called Saber.
A commitment to build peace from education. In short, a chisel so that they themselves can begin to sculpt their dreams in a dream territory that, however, all have been directly or indirectly affected by inequity, lack of opportunities, violence, the uprooting of ancestral territories, the displacement, insecurity, lack of food security, or strong contexts of exploitation of all kinds.
A call to recent generations who stopped believing in the study for the incursion of new life models based on the illegality and exploitation of natural resources. A real option for the youth of the Pacific, as well as their environment of teachers, parents and entities, to find that the educational option can project the region beyond its current reality and scarcity. You can transform it. Education as an instrument of change and seedbed of new opportunities.
This is our strategy to empower enough through education to change the vision of the world, by giving the educational community leadership tools and moving from lack of opportunities to action, so that the community builds its walk according to your own needs and expand your possibilities of access to quality higher education.
